The Drama Club has commissioned playwright Michael Federico and TDC Co-Founder Jeffrey Schmidt to write a new play. This will be their third collaboration on a new work. Most recently, they co-wrote TDC’s hugely successful Faust.

The play finds modern day connections with the Texas/Dallas earthquakes and Alberto Burri, an Italian WWII POW imprisoned in Texas who became an artist because of the experience.

One of his final projects was a commission to commemorate a town in Sicily destroyed by an earthquake. Burri's art will inform and inspire the structure and tone of the play.
